Hand-dyed indigo textile, latex, found seaside objects
180 × 300 cm
A suspended installation combining hand-dyed indigo textile, liquid latex and objects collected during journeys along the coastline.
Thin layers of latex hold salt marks, sand, plant fragments and other traces from the shore. Light passes through the hanging surfaces, bringing out the marks of contact, accumulation and gradual transformation.
The textile becomes a surface that absorbs and retains experience: a material record of memory, erosion and change.
