A site-responsive installation developed from field recording at the White Cliffs of Dover.
A stone retrieved from the coastal edge becomes both a sculptural anchor and part of a cassette mechanism. A loop of recorded waves passes through the work, bringing together the material of the shore, repeated movement and the gradual deterioration of recorded sound.
